Payment Options for January 2010

NOTE: This event is over. Stay tuned for a new writers’ seminar for this fall. If you have any writers’ events in and around the LaGrange area (for those of you who still haven’t been to LaGrange, it’s about 20 miles east of Louisville on I-71), please let us know. If you want to join us for the first LaGrange, Kentucky, writers’ seminar, you can use the following options for payment:

Write a check to Karen’s Book Barn for the proper amount and drop it by the book store or mail it to:

Go to PayPal through the button provided below and pay through your PayPal account or by eCheck from your checking account. You must have a PayPal account to use this method:

When you click on the PayPal button, you’ll arrive at a payment page. In the “Description” section, describe whether you’ll attend the Friday night event, the Saturday event or both. In the “Unit Price” section, you will input the price of your order depending upon the number of people you are paying to attend.

For instance, if you are paying for yourself only, you will input the following:

• Friday night Wine Reception: One person = $20; two people = $35 (includes wine and Hor d’oerves – see below)
• Saturday Seminar: One person = $20; two people = $35 (includes breakfast (snacks coffee/tea) and lunches – see below)
• Both events: $35 per person, $60 for two people. (includes wine and Hor d’oerves on Friday and breakfast/lunch on Saturday)

Although the form will not update the number of people attending, we still know, from the description and the amount, how many people will attend. We also have your email address through this method, and we can contact you regarding your choices for a Saturday lunch, provided you are attending the Saturday event.

FRIDAY EVENING:

Cheese Board ~ Grissini  ~ Luncheon Meat Tray ~ Merlot and Chardonnay/Pinot Grigio

SATURDAY:

We will have coffee/teas and breakfast munchies for attendees and writers.

SATURDAY LUNCH (one choice of the following per person)

1. Prosciutto Caprese, with fresh mozzarella cheese, tomato,  Prosc. di Parma, greens and balsamic dressing on a Pugliese roll.
2. Italian Sub, with sharp provolone cheese, Gonoa salame, spicy sausage, and hot capocolla with tomato and balsamic dressing on a French baguette.
3. Roasted Red Pepper Prosciutto, with Gorgonzola cheese, Swiss, Prosciutto di Parma, roasted and marinated red peppers, lettuce and dressing on a Pugliese roll.

If you have problems with either method of payment, please contact Linda Goin at lindagoin AT gmail.com to discuss other methods of payment. You also can contact Linda about your lunch choice.

Finally, we will accept walk-ins for the seminar (Saturday only), but we prefer that you contact us at least by two days before the event (by Thursday, January 21) to allow us to accommodate your seating. Walk-ins need to plan for lunch, either outside the library or by bringing a bag lunch.
