Tiramisu! Yum! Paella! Wow! Although Delizie Italiane focuses on Italian cuisine, you can enjoy specials from Spain as well as classes where you learn how to make cookies from all over the world. If you want to shop, though, Italian goodies comprise the theme behind Delizie Italiane.

Delizie Italiane offers local produce as well as exotice foods.

For a small local eatery, Delizie Italiane has a broad range of ways you can order their foods. You can shop for noodles, anchovies, sweets, meats and cheeses or you can avoid the cooking and cleanup and ask for anything from sandwiches (all on crusty Blue Dog Bakery breads) to full meals. Sandra and Caroline also cater, and they provide meals to go for busy folks during lunch and/or dinner or anytime in between.

If you’re into making a mess in the kitchen, then you haven’t lived until you’ve participated in Delizie Italiane’s cooking classes. Join small, intimate classes for fun with noodles, cookies, meat or fish sauces, breads and more. The best part? You get to sample everything you cook! And, you can meet some local colorful Delizie Italiane regulars, too.

The next time you visit downtown LaGrange, stop by Delizie Italiane if you want to be stunned. All of the following flows through a little cafe located at the east end of town:

Cafe: Rustic sandwiches on artisan breads, soups, salads and daily entree specials. Dine in, or carry out. Round off an Italian meal with dessert, and a coffee from our espresso bar.

Delicatessen: Stop in and shop for a varitey of imported luncheon meats and cheeses, olives, sott’aceti, hand-made egg pastas, pizza dough and sauces.

Buy a gift basket for yourself or for a friend.

Market: They carry hard to find specialty ingredients, as well as essential stock items for the Italian kitchen. These products are featured every month in their Italian Regional Cooking Classes.

Catering: Delizie Italiane caters large events, or small, casual or elegant. Pick-up, delivery, or full service is available.

Meals-to-Go: Italian dinner specialties are made fresh daily; both traditional and regional favorites. All dishes are made in-house from fresh ingredients and local produce.

If you come to the LaGrange Writers’ Seminar, you’ll get a chance to taste Delizie Italiane’s delicacies, as they will cater the evening event on Friday and lunch on Saturday. Get your taste buds ready!
